WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today U.S. Senators Elissa Slotkin (D-MI) and Mark Kelly (D-AZ) delivered statements and took questions from the press in response to a grand jury’s refusal to indict them over their video affirming service members of their right to disobey an illegal order.
Slotkin reviewed her position on the case, stating that no matter how President Trump and Jeanine Pirro continue to weaponize the judicial system against their perceived political enemies, this decision made by the members of the grand jury upheld our values, the Constitution, freedom of speech, and the rule of law.
