EAST LANSING, MI — U.S. Senator Elissa Slotkin (D-MI) held a ceremony and reception Wednesday evening at Demonstration Hall on the campus of Michigan State University to celebrate her nomination of 13 qualified candidates from our state for our nation’s Military Academies.

“As Michigan’s Senator, I’m honored to nominate these outstanding young men and women for appointment to our nation’s service academies,” said Senator Slotkin. “Service is a calling, but it is also incredibly hard work. Their determination has brought them to this moment, and their family members and loved ones should be proud. I have no doubt they will go on to do great things for our country. Thank you for your commitment to serve.“
