WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today U.S. Senator Elissa Slotkin (D-MI), a member of the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, questioned Senator Markwayne Mullin, President Trump’s nominee to be Secretary of Department of Homeland Security.
Slotkin’s questions focused on the need to reform ICE, concerns about President Trump sending federal law enforcement to polling places in the 2026 election, and protecting houses of worship.
