WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today U.S. Senator Elissa Slotkin, a member of the Senate Agriculture Committee, questioned Brooke Rollins, President Trump’s nominee to be Secretary of Agriculture.

Slotkin’s questions focused on the need to balance being tough on China with protecting our farmers from retaliation on tariffs. Additionally, Slotkin focused on the importance of protecting SNAP benefits from harmful cuts.
